What is Confessed?
Confessed is an anonymous confession website. Anyone can share a secret without an account, and everyone else decides: support or judge.
How it works
- Confess anonymously. No sign-up, no name, no email. Write what you’ve been holding in, pick a category and post it.
- People support or judge. Readers give your confession a thumbs up to support you or a thumbs down to judge you. The bar under each confession shows the split.
- The comments argue it out. Every commenter gets one name per confession, like Anonymous #2, so you always know who is replying to whom. If the person who confessed jumps in, they get an OP badge.
- The best rise to the top. The more people vote, comment, reply and like comments, the higher a confession ranks. The most popular confession of the day greets everyone on the home page.

Is it really anonymous?
Yes. Confessed has no accounts, so there is nothing that connects a confession to you. Your IP address is never saved with your posts. A random cookie in your browser only remembers which confessions you voted on and your name inside each comment thread. Clear your cookies and you start completely fresh.
House rules
- Don’t include real names, addresses or anything that could identify someone.
- No links. They are blocked automatically.
- No hate, threats, harassment or illegal content.
Anyone can report a confession. Confessions that get reported by several people are hidden automatically.

What do Support and Judge mean?
Thumbs up means you support the person who confessed. Thumbs down means you judge them. The bar under every confession shows how the crowd voted.
Why do commenters have names like Anonymous #3?

How are confessions ranked?
By engagement. Votes, comments, replies and comment likes all push a confession up, and newer confessions get a head start, so the feed stays fresh.
Can I post links?
No. Links are blocked in confessions and comments to keep out spam, scams and self-promotion.
Can I delete a confession?
Confessions can’t be edited or deleted after posting, so read yours before you share it. Anyone can report a confession that breaks the rules, and reported posts are hidden.
